Which of your services will my restaurant need?
It depends on your location, building and setup. We will check your outlet against our services and tell you which apply. Some outlets also need other approvals, such as a liquor licence, pollution consent or GST registration, which are outside our services.
Does my restaurant need an FSSAI licence or registration?
For new applications from 1 April 2026, turnover up to ₹1.5 crore generally falls under registration, above ₹1.5 crore and up to ₹50 crore under a State licence, and above ₹50 crore under a Central licence. Some activities have special rules, so it's worth confirming your category.
When should I contact you?
Ideally before you sign the lease or begin fit-out. We also help running outlets that still need any of these licences.
Can you guarantee approval?
No consultant can honestly guarantee this. Approvals are decided by the authorities. Our job is to help make sure your applications are complete and correct, and to follow them through.
Is Restro Permit a government office?
No. Restro Permit is a private consultancy. Licences and approvals are granted only by the relevant authorities.
